Black lies

Black lies!

There is nothing that you do in the dark that does not came to light. We try to be clever and get away with it for a while, but at the end of the day, what we do catches up with us.

I am sure most of us have gotten caught up in such a dilemma before; where you told a lie and all seems to be okay, however later on it all catches on to you. 

The question is, why do we lie? 

I say it's because we are lairs right?-

In this simple world, it is a straight-forward answer. But there is more to it.

Lie:

(a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.)

One day my uncle told me a story about 3 men:

1)the thief

2)the killer 

3)the liar 

They all went to a united town and said,  "what can we do to destroy this town?" So they all went and took turns. But, at the end of each round they got a cough and were expelled from the town. One killed and the elders of the town had a meeting and went to hunt for the killer. The same happened with the thief. But the liar was not in action yet, so he went down to the town and made some friends and he put his plan into action. He told a black lie there, a white one here and by the end the 3 men stood at the highest place of that town watching them destroying themselves because of the lies the liar told.

Nothing that you build on lies never stands; nothing built up on pretence lasts, because the truth will always be begging to come out and eventually does. 

I had a friend for whom we knew each other since our childhood. Few years later my friend showed up.Since I didn't know the person so well, I gave It a chance. It all seemed to be too perfect and surreal of how much of a good person the person was. As time went by, I just followed the signs and suspicions, and I found out the person was lying to me.

The morale of this is simple: if the truth you are trying to hide doesn't blow up in your face, someone can even expose the truth. Chances are you may lose everything you have. I know what I am saying because I have been there. When it comes to getting to know someone and it is all based on lies; what can happen is that after lying so much you end up actually liking the person and the lie can pop up at anytime. So all your energy is on trying to prevent the lie from popping up. When you decide to tell the truth you and try and continue from there, all that you say becomes hard to believe.

Think about this things and change what needs to change. 🎀
