Tips on how to dress up

Hello girls today me and my friend Gloria were talking about how dressing up descretely is important.

The way we dress up speaks a lot about youself, you either are comfortable with yourself or you are trying to prove a point to your girl friends! Sad right?

Today for the first time since the start of the year I really understood what it mean to be confident in myself, specifically in regards to clothing. You've probably heard many times from you mum, your aunt, your pastor's wife or even your friends that you should dress more secretly (aka cover up!) but none of this really changed your mind about wearing your tight mini skirts, or your plunging tops exposing all your goodies, nor did it stop you from showing off your belly. But I'm not going to tell you what not to wear, you can figure this out once you've read the rest of what I'm going to share.

I spoke to a guy today and he definitely agreed that your exposing outfits would attract him and all his mates, and in fact it would make you the centre of their attention because they would want to persue you for your "hotness", but only that! Never would they want to introduce you to their parents or family becaus nothing serious can come out of a sold out item. After all, a vulgar woman is like a cheap piece of clothing on a shop display window, every one looks at it, tries it, and may even take pictures with it but no one ever buys it because it's no good! Now I'm sure none of us want to be used. How many times have we heard "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?!" This goes the same with the fact that when we don't value ourselves enough to dress descretely, then no one will see the importance in investing into getting to know you when you're already selling yourself short.

So maybe it's the case that you're trying to keep up with the trends or show off to your friends, you should always remember some types of attention is better than no attention at all. For the first time I appreciated the fact that I am beautiful and confident in clothes that call the right attention without having to be indiscreet. For the first time I appreciated the fact that I am setting a good example and that I can be fashionable while doing it. 

Here are some tips on how to dress appropriately in different occasions.

The long Road

Today I will start with a question.

Have you ever in your life took the easy way of things are it back fired you?

I am guilt of charge hihihihih, just like you I have done that too and the result wasn't good. The proverbs of today talks about choices.

Proverbs2:12,13

"To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;" Last week I talked about knowledge and wisdom, today I want to talk about bad companies, as women men or women, we may have an idea of who we want to became or of where we want to be in few years, but sometimes we get distracted by our friends or by the world or by what we see, so we end up dong what we don't want, we start hanging around with the wrong companies.   I also want to talk about bad companies in our spiritual life, the world is full of fun and if we are not really sure of what we want or what's really important we end up losing the opportunity to know God more.  In school if we don't apply ourself and give 100% in everything we may fail At home with your family if you take them for granted you will ruin the relationship with your family members.  What I want to say is this, to do the wrong thing is very easy, to follow the crowd it's easy, to be negative is easy,to put yourself down its all easy, but to walk on the path of uprightness it's difficult, it's like almost impossible to be happy in this path, you do everything right, you wake up early applying for jobs and go sleep late but no answer, you give all you have to help people but at the end of the day they are ungrateful, you stop doing wrong you leave the bad companies behind to do what's right and it looks like others are making and you are left with nothing, in this path it always looks like if will not work and this is what the world wants you to believe and many other things you can think of just add it on...  This proverbs show that if you keep on doing what is right no matter how hard it gets you will get there, but if you think it's too hard and leave the path of uprightness, you will walk into ways of darkness and there,there is no way out. I want to understand that after a rainy day, it cames the  rinbow ,right there to show you  it was worth it.    Tough moments are there for two reasons: 1) To show you how much you really want one thing, to give you the strength you need to go the extra mile. 2) To show you that it was not important and just like the lazy you will quit and let it go.  Last Sunday I learned this: Tough moments don't last forever  But tough people do.

knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul

Last week I stared to post proverbs that will help you and me to change our ways and make wise decisions and change the way we see things.

Proverbs helped me in many ways, I still have a lots of things to change and many things to practice.

The verse of today is 
Proverbs 

2:10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

I was wondering what pleasent to our soul?

I thought of sleeping because when you don't sleep, you became tired, everything annoys you, you don't want to do nothing but reast your body, and many other things you could think of that its pleasent to our soul, such as watching a movie,eating,be in a silece place,reading a book, and many more we all different, so when you meditate on this post try to draw your mind into what os pleasent for you.

In life we went through  so many different things,same of them we learnt from others we didn't . How can you see if you have changed or not? Simples see how many times you make the same mistake over and over again, it shows that you still don't have the knowledge it.

Example: one thing about me that I always get it wrong it's given. I am very unbalanced when it cames to giving, it's not that I don't give its that I give too much, and there is no balanced, I think too much in other people, I want to help everyone and at the end, everyone is read to go and I am still not done and no one wants to help. For me that was not a problem, because in my head I thought it's normal for me to Lose In order for others to have, and if we think about it, it's good for us to give more of ourself to others, but when it's done wisely. So I decided to change the situation around, trust me it's not easy for me at all to say no to others when they ask me for help but I have to push it, I had to go against my will and have balance. Before the knowledge be cames pleasent to your soul changes is needed, you have to go against yourself and than you will have what many people lack, "wisdom"

  I have seen many results in my changes, the reason why I am changing its because i saw the problem,wisdom entred my heart and the knowledge became pleasent to my soul because I am not longer frustrated because I don't get things done on time, or because I am always the one lacking for others to have, I learned to help myself and then help others.

May be your situation is different than mine, annalyse what is your problem and change them by using this verse to help you.

Proverbs for life

For a period of 40 days in my life I ready every single chapter and verses of the book of proverbs in the bible and it help me to see things in a different way. After finishing the book, a thought came into my head "if you read this book and not educate yourself I guess will never be educated again"

  I lots of time we find ourself making the same mistake over and over again, and we ask ourself why? And the answer its simple we are just not been wise enought to see that doing the same thing over and over again will not give is a different answer and this book of proverbs helped me to see that and I want to share it with you hoping that it may help you too. 

Here is the first chapter and verse: 

 

Proverbs

"1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:"

One of the things that can kill a person is not hearing what others have to say, they think they know better than anyone, the opinion matters more,what they think it's better than what others think, they think that they are the only one who have ever been to that situation. Most of the mistakes we make its because we didn't took that extra minute to just listen what others what to say, or to accept others help or advise in how to overcame certain things, and they are so many examples I can give about myself, one of them has happen recently it's silly but if I took that extra minute to think about I wouldn't have burn my ears, I didn't burn it with a hair straightener or a hair dryer but with a Iron, now imagine what was I doing with the iron to burn my ear?....

*A wise man will hear, and will increase learning

This bible serves show that a wise man listens to what others have to say,she/he analyses the situation before making a decision, she/he wants to learn new things and not just stick to what she things it's best. This "wise"person is always looking for ways to became better and how he could increase his knowledge.

*and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels

When you look for wiser ways of making decision you also learn to have a different understanding of things, you see thinks in different way, you will be able to see a way out where others don't see, you able to help others and not just thing about yourself.

Now you may ask me how do I get there? How do I became this type of person? 

The answer it's simple be humble, see why things at times don't work well for you. 

See the way you react when others are trying to help you?

What have you been doing with the advises you take from others?

When you around people do you let them express they opinion and respect them or you always have to be the one with the last word?

I don't know the answer for everything, some of this things I writing to you I am also trying to figure it out, so as I am trying to find out the answers I am also trying to help you so we can all change together.

Take that extra minute and over think about the situation, one action,one word can define lives.

       I am not asking you to be perfect I am just asking you to make a difference.

Lies! The power of the words

XxHave you ever lied about something? Or you been lied to before?

 I am guilt of it I have told many lies before and I know the efffects that it can cause in you and on people.

Different scenarios and different lies:
*You said that you would do something but you don't do it when you had too. Lie!
* You make up things to get out of trouble. Lie
*You say that you have done something, knowing that you will do it later. Lie
* You hide the truth instead of expressing it. Lie
* Do you know when people do things that really hurt you and when the ask you were you offended or something you go "not really". Lie
There are many others and I am sure that you have found yourself in those situations before, I have and it's doesn't really looks like a lie but if you see the results of this attitudes you will see how it has affected you!
By not honering your words people will not trust you with big things, by not saying how you really felt others will continuing doing the same things to you and so on.

* you want to get away with things
* fear of the consequences of your actions
* not knowing how to express yourself
* lack of character

         The bottom line is this, if you know that you do this things you have to find the root of it and over came it, and you will see how it will make you s better person, you won't have to lie to cover another lie, you will be free to say what you want and be comfortable with yourself.
Others may not like this new you but remember that when you assume your position you are solving your problems.
I meditated in this verse to day and it only made sense now.

Complexes Vs Me

Almost every women has had complexes about themselves before, either because you are too big or too small, my nose is fat, I think my legs are too long, I don't like my hair and many other things. 

Have you noticed that Every Girl does that!?

       The media has designed how women should look in the outside but forgotten to show what really happens behind the sines, and it's not always pretty, I see how this has affected many including me. I have learned to love myself for lots of reason:

** One of the reason was that God made me and everything he makes it's beautiful so I am Beautiful.

** I am unique and no matter how much I try to look like someone else I will never be that someone 

**The other reason it's that I can't change my outside apperience   or even if I do, if I don't fix the real problem every time I would in the mirror I would still see the old me. Let's be honest we all have parts of our body that we don't like, I really don't like my noise I think it's too big but it's enough for my face and now I learned I new make up that makes it very nice and I am loving it.

 

The other thing that I get commentated a lot it's my shape. Or you are too big for your edge, I think you need to lose weight, people like to put they responsibilities  of losing weight on others because they are not happy with themselves, if you are big or small who cares? Embrace what you have, they are people that like to have curves and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as you rock it "Classy" if you know that I mean ;) and others like to be small we have to respect it, as long as you are not putting your health at risk why not have your on identity!?

Insecurity will always be part of you for as long as you allow it to be, learn to love yourself,find the root of your insecurities and change from inside out and learning to like yourself will be a consequence of your inner change, it will not happen over night you will need to persevere in order for you to see the changes. 

        Remember the more you love yourself the more others will love you

So careless or loving?

Are you careless with your tithe or you are having the reverence needed?

There are many things that cames to us so mechanically in life, such as: bath, eating, sleeping, speak and many other things, you don't usually have to check it, it just happens because your head tells you to do it because it  is part of the human nature, but we can't relay on this, normal  even a computer needs to be checked in order not to catch virus, check the memory if it's not too full and so on, this is how we have  to be with our spiritual life, we have to constantly be on the alert button in order for us not to make mistakes,or just relay on our brain to do it all on it's own.

I am so used to tithe everything that cames to my hand that my brain stared to it on it's own, I didn't needed to be riminded about it because it became mechanic for me, but with something that your life depends on, we can't be mechanic about we have to check all the time, am I doing it properly? Am I having the reverence with my tithe the way I need it too? Or just doing it anyhow? When I was constantly doing this I had no problem, recently because of lack of fear I didn't take my tithe simply because I thought I will replace it after( I was not meant to spend it as I was given it for my exam) because I didn't analyses the situation with reverence I made this No No mistake, I have fixed myself and will never do it again. It happened so fast and I felt so strange, every moment I was praying it came to me, but I was insisting in I will replaced it but God didn't allow me to be in darkness for to long, I was asking why I was feeling so strange and God showed me the No No, it made me so mad  I wasted no time and went on my knee and asked God to have mersy.

What I want to recall you mind in this example  because it was not my intention to not give back to God what belongs to him, but I first didn't took time to think or even listen to God when she said take the tithe out, but I relay on your brain only. So check how you given you tithe

*how are u doing it
*how much reverence you are using to give your tithe?
* do you do it because you want to obey or it became mechanic for you?
*when you are tKimg your tithe are you taking your time to count it properly?
* are you been the tithe that you are giving?


Ask God ways for you to make special for him and in how to take care of your tithe envelop.

         If you are like I was relaying only in my brain and not having that exatra caring with it, than change it, ask  God  for forgiveness and change your ways don't touch what is Holy.

Deus,Deus meu mas uma vez eu entro na Tua presenca para lhe diser que na minha vida eu so foi capaz de faser uma  escolha PERFEITA Que foi Te Servir e viver todos os Dias na Sua presenca.

Are you a boring Christian or limited?

I offten get this question from my No-Christian friends when we are having a conversation, they always ask me can you do this the answer it's always no I can't. They asked me why? To be honest at that time I didn't know what to say, but I took on the opportunity to try to explain why can't we do everything and why we need to stop been a boring Christians for no reason at all.

As a Christian we don't do what is right for us but the will of Whom we Serve, what seems right to you it may not be right for Him, to be honest we can do anything we want to do as long as your mind doesn't accuse you and you doesn't go against the commandments.

Examples of few things we can't do: use offensive words,go clubbing,lie,have sex before getting married,dress indecent  Cause comflict among brothers, big mouth and the list goes on.although some "Christian " do all this things above, but are also so many things that we can do like HAVE FUN! The picture that people have in their minds it's this Christians only help others,they are holy, they don't do that they don't do this and blablablaaaa okay we are meant to be like this helping and passing life, bit we also do many things like; enjoy a dance off with friends,go shopping, have dinner, cinema and many things

   There is a group called a Godllywood that was created to help women to have God's character in them, they have different challenges that it's avaloable for you Girls that want to change your ways and he more becautiful in God's eyes. The moral of this post it's this been a Christian it is not boring when you have God in you, you can do so many things that will help you and others, you can have fun just like others but in a good way, no need of alcohol, drogs, sex and so on,you can go out with your friends and enjoy. Stop been a boring Christian the one that only wears long skirt, everything for you it's amen, alleluia, all this religious
things as if it will take you to heaven, go and explore new things stop limitating yourself and others ,because they may see you as an example and they do what you do, and if you are boring,,,, guess how they will turn up? Boringgggggg.

Don't be a boring Christian because God it's not a boring God.

 **Si formos a olhar para os erros Realmente nao da para representar alguem com Tamanha Honrra! Nao da, mas Deus ve o que gente nao ve, Deus sabe o que agente nao sabe, Entam si voce esta lendo isso hoje assumi a sua possicao. Voce foi encontrada no erro?? E agora ta com o medo da vergunha que vas passar assumi a Tua possicao,voce quer servir a Deus? E mudar a sua estoria? Assumi a sua possicao, Porque o Deus que ta escrevendo isso para voce acredita em voce,me mim em nois. Nao me pergunta porque, porque eu nao faco a minima idea mas Ele sabe.Busca dele o que voce quer ser para glorificar o nome dele, di para deixar o orgulho para atrais deixa, as aparencias deixa, tomar decissoes difficult que nao faz sentido nos olhos humanos faca-os porque aquele que acredita em ti ta acima de me I de voce ele SABE e ele nao o vai decepcionar.

**How to act when everything is going wrong for you.**

As I am writing this blog post for you, I am traveling to London for my Rush month meeting, everything was working against it, and to make things worse guess what happen? We forgotten my bag at home, imagine what was going on in my mind,? I am in the road traveling with a tight budget,with four women now imagine the panic? Automatically I closed my face I got sad and I didn't wanted to do anything, the atmosphere changed and everyone was like I am so sorry, and now what?

I thought in my head I will get mad and not collaborate with the Girls and do my things/nothing, or make a different by  act differently, I accept the make of my friend even thou she is lighter than me, I changed my hair style everything, I used what I didn't have, to change the situation around us.

                          

   *The moral of all this situation is, if you put on a face and get mad at everyone in a hard situation you are facing, it will not solve the problem,if you worry too much about the problem will also not solve the fact that I will not wear what You planned and you  will may not be as comfortable as You planned but look for ways in how you can act differently in the way that you will not make others around you feel bad.

Limits

*Our limitations  forces us to be creative


We all have limitations in our lives  but we don't have to always submit to it right?
Limits are there for two reason: one is to discipline, the other is to push us to do more.

Limits that discipline; limits  is very important in our everyday life, relationship with others,in our words,jokes, the way we dress,walk and the list goes on, if we don't have limits you are all over the place,and when you are all over the place people don't trust you with big things because you have no limits, you disrespect others because of lack of limits, your jokes are too silly,you think that you can do or say anything to anybody because you "Can" that can lead to a lot of issues. When you have limit you are a balanced person, poeple would like to hear what you have to say because you will not embarrece anyone, when you have limits you are not to provocative with your clothes because you know how to present yourself.when you have limits you know when to speak and when to hold your peace.

Limits that pushes you: there are so many type of limits some physical limits ,finance and emotional.
Someone of us don't very look at this things, there are just details and nothing more, others look at it like the end of the world, and use their limitations to make excuses, or I can't to that this and many others that me and you have used it, to get away with things or because we were too lazy to do it. I have seen so many beautiful example of people you physically speaking couldn't do much but they overcame all the struggles that have to make a difference and to in power other people to fight for what they want.


       When I am struggling with something I know I have to make it, just to prove to me and inspire others that there is a way for everything, the good news is that you can also do that, use your limitations to be creative, stop looking at things that you don't have and look at what you have and think what can I do to creat a great thing out of it? Sometimes it's not about what you have, it's about what you can make of what you have!got it? Than use it for your benefit and to inspire others around you!

When you lack originality you lack everything else

As the years went by I notice that we all have lost One thing  that would help us to make a difference in this world send it's called originality.

Many of us lack originality in everything we do,it's simple because we have accept what the world has given us,we copy because it saves us time to think right!? Or simple because it's much better to look like someone else than yourself.

Lack of originality it's a like a romantic  movie without Romance, a mirror without a reflection, you can look at it feel it but it doesn't make sense, no life,no originality.

I see this in many young Girls that could have been making a difference among their friends but they are too afraid to show what they have,I used to be like this Girl, I used to hide behind everyone else and accept things as they came to me,but not anymore, because I went deeper and I saw that I can make a difference if I wanted.

We all have a voice someone of us just don't know how to express it, others use they talent to make a difference and help many people around the world, others use it in the wrong way to get all the attention for themselves and others prefer to follow so that they don't have to be a leader, and you? Do you believe that you can make a difference? Are you a leader or a follower? 

 

When you have answer this inside of you, go deeper and see what you can do to change the situation that you are leaving in,don't thigh yourself no more it's time to go out there and make a change. Find ways that you can showcase  what you have, sing if you can,dance,act, you can even scream if you can but don't allow yourself to be in silence no more.

People don't gave to accept what you believe in as long as you know, that what you are doing it's enough to give life to someone than thw world it's already all yours.,!
